1. Durable hidden hinges

The Arvo window features stylish hidden hinges, meaning there are no visible hinges on the inner sash. This makes the Arvo window the choice for residents who value style. Durable concealed hinges maintain their integrity for decades.

Concealed hinges also make the window easier to clean, as the hinges are hidden inside the frames. This allows the frames and sashes to be easily wiped clean, keeping the windows in neat condition.

2. One handle mechanism

Traditional Finnish type two sash & inwards opening windows have several separate locks that need to be opened one by one to get the window open.

The Arvo windows feature a frame-structured locking mechanism that operates with a single fixed handle. With the new mechanism, opening the window is light and easy.

Similarly, closing the window is effortless with a single handle, and no individual lock can accidentally be left open. The frame structure ensures that even a large window locks tightly and maintains its energy efficiency.

The energy efficiency of the four-glass Arvo+ window is one of the best on the market (U-value 0.57). Triple glazed Arvo and Arvo 1.0 meet the building starndards.

Additionally, the window features highly soundproof glass and high solar protection, which enhances living comfort and reduces the need for cooling.

Arvo window is made from high-quality materials: a high-quality wood-aluminum structure and aluminum exterior frames that last for decades. Aluminum is perfectly suited to Finland’s variable weather conditions.

“There was a clear need from customers for a stylishly designed fresh air vent, as traditional fresh air vents are not usually the most aesthetically pleasing,” explains Hautapakka, providing background on the product development.

The Suvi fresh air vent not only looks good, but it is also a technologically advanced product. The structure of the fresh air vent ensures that the right amount of fresh air enters the room in a controlled manner.

New: Sani Automatic Blinds

Skaala’s most innovative new product this fall is the solar-powered Sani automatic blinds. These automatic blinds harness energy from the sun through a solar panel located at the top of the blinds.

The blinds can be easily adjusted using a remote control or programmed to operate according to a specific time or light level. The solar-powered blinds have been proven to work effectively even during the darkest months in Finland: “We have tested the Sani automatic blinds in Southern Ostrobothnia for over a year, and the solar-powered automatic feature works excellently even during the darkest winter months.”
